Instructions & Downloads

  1. Check the exact wax’s precautions and your warmer instructions before starting. Prepare the skin with the named cleanser and let it dry.
  2. Warm and stir as your wax and warmer direct, then test the temperature before application. There is no single heating time for every formula.
  3. Spread a thin layer in the direction of hair growth. Press a suitable epilating strip over it and smooth in the same direction.
  4. Hold the skin taut. Remove the strip quickly against hair growth, keeping the pull close to the skin. Don’t reapply soft wax over the same area.
  5. Use Satin Release for wax left on the skin. The Academy links explain strip choice, preparation and finishing care in more detail.

HOW TO USE:

1. Remove plastic lid; slide protective collar onto wax container and place container in warmer. 2. Heat wax until it has a syrup-like texture. 3. Cleanse area to be waxed with Satin Smooth® Satin Cleanser® Skin Preparation Cleanser. 4. With wooden spatula, apply a thin layer of wax to skin in the direction of hair growth. 5. Place epilating strip over waxed area; smooth firmly in the direction of hair growth. 6. Hold skin taut. Pull epilating strip quickly in opposite direction of hair growth, keeping epilating strip close to skin. Never reapply wax in the same area. 7. After area has been completely waxed, apply Satin Smooth® Satin Release® to remove any wax residue on skin surface.
