Supporting Products & Guides

180–240 Grit Nail Files

Choose a finer file for controlled shaping and smoothing. Nove Academy’s manicure guidance recommends a fine-grit file on the free edge; use a gentle technique and match the tool to the nail and service.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Check the printed grit before each use. The numbers identify the abrasive grade; the product details and your training guide the exact task.
  2. Shape the natural free edge with an appropriate fine-grit file and controlled strokes. Nove Academy recommends filing in one direction for a manicure.
  3. Use a file on enhancement product only when its grit and the gel or acrylic system suit the task. Avoid force or repeated heavy filing on the natural nail.
  4. Discard single-use files after each client; follow local professional hygiene rules.
