The same D-118 pointed-flame shape comes in fine and medium grit. Choose the grit for the part of prep you are doing, rather than treating them as a pair you must buy together.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Check D-118 and the 2.1 × 8 mm head size on the selected bit.
  2. U-Tools describes fine for delicate cuticle lifting and polishing the cuticle zone after cuticle removal.
  3. Medium is described for cuticle lifting before a strengthening coating and for cleaning the nail wall. Use the grit that suits your trained technique and the task.
  4. Clean reusable bits before the required disinfection or sterilization process. Check that the method is suitable for the bit material; our tool-care guide explains the steps. Disposable sanding bands must be discarded after use.

  •  Coarse (Green): Designed for cleaning and shaping nail plates, lifting and removing rough cuticles, cleaning nail grooves, and treating thickened skin, small corns, and calluses.

Maintenance:

To ensure optimal performance and hygiene:

Wash, clean, sterilize, and dry after every client.

Disinfect using a solution containing at least 70% alcohol for complete safety and sanitation.
