Using Erica's Fine Refine Ball

The fine Refine Ball smooths lifted dead cuticle and blunt skin edges. Placement matters: Erica’s directs this bit onto the lifted cuticle, with no contact on the nail plate.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Lift dead cuticle away from the nail plate first, using the technique you’ve been trained to perform.
  2. Gently trace the skin rim to exfoliate the lifted dead cuticle or soften blunt edges left by nippers. Keep the ball off the nail plate.
  3. Clean reusable bits before the required disinfection or sterilization process. Check that the method is suitable for the bit material; our tool-care guide explains the steps. Disposable sanding bands must be discarded after use.
