Tackless Hyper Shine gives your MLaq color a glossy finish without a sticky layer to wipe away. If you prefer matte, choose a Magic matte top gel and follow its own directions.

Instructions & Downloads

1. Prep the nail gently. Remove surface oil and residue with 99% alcohol or pure acetone, following Magic’s preparation directions. Avoid other-brand primers, bonders and dehydrators that can leave a film.
2. Apply your base. For a Magic gel manicure on the natural nail, gently scrub in a thin layer of Silicone Thin Base, then brush it smooth. Keep it off the skin and cure for 60 seconds LED or 2 minutes in a 36-watt UV lamp.
3. Create the Cat Eye effect. Apply the shade in thin coats, using a suitable nail-art magnet before curing to shape the shimmer. Follow Magic’s technique directions and your shade’s coverage; cure each coat for 30 seconds LED or 2 minutes in a 36-watt UV lamp.
4. Finish the service. Apply your chosen Magic top gel and use its own cure and cleansing directions. Tackless Hyper Shine gives a glossy finish without a sticky layer to wipe; matte and other Magic finishes are alternatives.
5. Check your exact bottles and lamp before starting. Shade coverage and gel cure times differ, so use each product’s label rather than one setting for the whole service. Keep all uncured gel off the skin.
