Using the U-Tools D-59 Medium Barrel

The D-59 medium diamond barrel has a 4 × 12 mm head. U-Tools lists free-edge correction, nail-wall cleaning and prep among its medium-grit uses.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Confirm D-59 and medium grit; the coarse version has different listed uses.
  2. Choose the barrel for the prep or free-edge task you have been trained to perform. Keep its working surface and the nail area visible.
  3. Use light, moving contact and match the setting to the bit and machine directions. Stop if the client feels heat or discomfort.
  4. Clean reusable bits before the required disinfection or sterilization process. Check that the method is suitable for the bit material; our tool-care guide explains the steps. Disposable sanding bands must be discarded after use.

The Diamond Nail Drill Bits in the Barrel shape crafted for efficiency and accuracy.

These bits contain a softer and gentler grade of diamonds to compare with bits made in Europe.

These versatile bits are available in two variations:

Medium (Blue): used for:

  • Correcting the free edge of the natural nail plate.
  • Lifting and removing cuticles,
  • Polishing periungual ridges
  • Preparing the nail plate for coating.
  • Cleaning the nail wall for a flawless finish.

 Coarse (Green): recommended for:

  • Removing of part of the nail plate.
  • Creating an arch under the nail and treating surface cracks.
  • Treating and removing of corns and calluses.

 Maintenance:

To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your tools, follow these essential post-procedure steps:

 Wash, clean, sterilize, and dry all bits used during the process.

Utilize a solution with at least 70% alcohol for effective disinfection.
