Using a mini sanding-band mandrel

A smaller sanding-band attachment can help you reach smaller working areas. Start by matching the band to your Mini Magic Mandrel, then work with light, controlled passes.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Choose the sanding band specified for your exact Mini Magic Mandrel. Check both the diameter and attachment type; a similar-looking mini or XL band doesn’t establish a match.
  2. Fit the band with the machine stopped, following the mandrel and handpiece instructions. Check that it seats securely and that neither part is damaged.
  3. Match the abrasive grit to the task and material. A small head gives access to a smaller area; it doesn’t make every grit suitable for the natural nail.
  4. Keep the attachment moving with a light touch and check your progress frequently. Stop if the band slips, the handpiece vibrates, or you notice heat or discomfort.
  5. Follow the band’s single-use instructions and the mandrel’s approved reprocessing method. Clean a reusable mandrel before the required disinfection.
