Checking the Medicool E12M diamond barrel fit

Check the bit code as well as the shape. This is Medicool’s E12M medium diamond barrel, and Medicool excludes certain vacuum-suction files from its standard Pro Bits fit.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Confirm E12M on the packaging. Choose the medium diamond barrel for the intended shaping work, following your training and the bit instructions.
  2. Do not fit standard Pro Bits to Medicool File Stream, Vac File or Pro Vac File Classic vacuum-suction machines. Those machines require their own compatible bits.
  3. Check the machine and bit directions for speed, then use a controlled, moving touch.
  4. Clean reusable bits before the required disinfection or sterilization process. Check that the method is suitable for the bit material; our tool-care guide explains the steps. Disposable sanding bands must be discarded after use.
