Instructions & Downloads

  1. Prep the natural nail and use forms only if the service includes an extension. Do not apply another base coat under Opti-Bond.
  2. Apply Opti-Bond in a very thin layer, staying clear of the cuticle and sidewalls.
  3. Cure for the time on the current Opti-Bond instructions using an Akzéntz LED light. Leave the sticky layer in place and continue with a compatible Options builder or color.
  4. For an Options color service, apply thin coats and follow the exact color jar’s cure directions. Finish with the chosen compatible gloss.
  5. For removal, Options is a soak-off system, but Opti-Bond may require longer soaking. Follow Akzéntz’s removal directions and never pry or peel product from the nail.

Options Opti-Bond (Original Formula)

A specialized, acid-free bonding gel formulated to deliver superior adhesion to the natural nail, making it particularly effective for clients experiencing retention challenges such as lifting or separation. Its low formulation is especially beneficial for clients with "oily" nails, enhancing adhesion and reducing the likelihood of lifting. An increased soak-off time may be required when Opti-Bond has been used.

Recommended Use

Step 1: Before Builder, or Color Gel Application
Thoroughly prep the natural nails and apply forms if creating an extension. Do not apply any other base coat to the nails.

Step 2: Apply
Apply Options™ Opti-Bond in a very thin layer to the natural nails. Do not touch the cuticle or sidewalls.

Step 3: Cure
Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED light. Do not wipe the inhibition layer. Proceed with your Builder or Color application.
